Waxway Farm sits below the beautiful East Hill woodlands with its panoramic views over the lush Devon countryside towards Exeter and Dartmoor. Although easily and quickly accessible from all parts of the UK this remains a quiet and peaceful place and it is from here that Gill and Patrick Roberts welcome you to sample the space and countryside that still exist in such abundance in Devon.
Our two cottages, Swallows and Bats, offer people a comfortable base for as quiet or as busy a time as they wish, to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, or to have an active holiday with all that Devon has to offer. We are less than four miles from the World Heritage coast at Sidmouth and the beaches at Exmouth, Branscombe and Beer lead us to the world-renowned Jurassic coast at Lyme Regis and beyond. Less than an hour away are Dartmoor and Exmoor with their wide open spaces, spectacular views and countryside and opportunities for walking. Exeter, with its cathedral, shops and modern facilities, is just a short drive away.
